On May 24th 2024, the 23rd "Chinese Bridge" World Student Competition took place in Hall B of Ho Chi Minh City University of Education, featuring intense and thrilling rounds of competition.
This year's contest was themed "One World, One Family." Thirty-three contestants from 17 universities participated in the competition. The competition involved three different rounds. In the first round, contestants had to answer questions related to China's economy, politics, society, and culture. In the Chinese language proficiency round, each contestant had 3-5 minutes to deliver a presentation on the theme "The World is a Family," with assessment focusing on pronunciation, content and presentation style. In the talent round, contestants showcased various skills such as calligraphy, drama, and playing the zither.
With a passion for learning, a love for the Chinese language and culture, and a determination to acquire knowledge and improve their abilities, the 33 contestants brought different shades to the competition, all of which were meticulously and professionally prepared from costumes to content.
The results were as follows: the Committee awarded one First Prizes, two Second Prizes and three Third Prizes and five Consolation Prizes:

The 23rd "Chinese Bridge" World Student Competition concluded with many impressive and memorable moments for the students from universities in the southern region. The event allowed them to come together, communicate, and socialize with other individuals studying Chinese, with the aim of delving into and enriching their understanding and respect for China's unique language, culture, and artistic heritage.
